Overview

A climb to this 21,055 feet long Chulu West Peak located in a valley north of Manang is one of the best climbs to world’s most beautiful region, Annapurna, and is perfect for someone looking for some adventure in this region.

The Chulu West Peak is said to be one of the best peaks for the magnificent view of the Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri and Annapurna from the peak. Trekking to this peak will give you some memorable view but is physically demanding, is a longer climb and requires high degree of stamina and trekkers need to have some technical idea to climb this peak.

March, April, September, October and November are the best months to opt for this trip to gain a much better experience. This trekking route begins from Besisahar, a 5 to 6 hour drive from Kathmandu, and ends at Nayapool, which is an hour drive from Pokhara and we will acclimate at Chulu West Base Camp to get ourselves familiarized with the climbing techniques.

The trekking trail leads to the breathtaking valley of Manang, through lush lowlands of Marsyangdi River and landscapes that change as we curve around the Annapurna range.
