Overview

The Goodness trip incorporates major activities and places of attraction that Nepal has to offer.

Signing up to this package will allow you to experience urban, suburban and rural settings and settlements of the country. Activities involve, trekking the world famous routes to paddling the whitest of the white river.

Taking showers alongside elephants in Chitwan to soaring the skies to have a bird’s eye view of the famous Fewa-taal in Pokhara could also be achieved. The cost for these extra activities are not included in the package cost

Day by Day

YOUR ADVENTURE DIARY

  • Day 1

    Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel before packing up and heading towards Charaundi, covering a distance of around 74 km. There, you will embark on an unforgettable rafting adventure on the Trishuli River, followed by overnight camping by the riverbanks. Indulge in a typical Nepali lunch, complete with delicious lentils, local rice, vegetable gravy, and chicken curry. The rafting excursion shall last for approximately 3 hours, followed by a relaxing evening complete with a bonfire, BBQ, and dinner. You will spend the night under the twinkling stars in top-quality tents.

  • Day 2

    Begin your day with a delectable breakfast comprising bread, jam, butter, hard-boiled eggs, and brown chickpeas. Following this, we will gear up for an exhilarating morning rafting adventure lasting for approximately 2-3 hours. After returning to our campsite, we will indulge in a delightful lunch before embarking on a 4-4.5 hour drive to the stunning city of Pokhara, nestled at an altitude of 835m. Upon arrival, we will proceed to our designated hotel, freshen up within 15-20 minutes, and head out for a leisurely evening stroll around the renowned Lakeside area. Finally, we will dine at a designated restaurant, with self-payment as the payment option.

  • Day 3

    Begin your day with a scrumptious breakfast at the hotel before embarking on an hour and a half drive (approximately 44 km) to Nayapool, the starting point of our trek. Upon reaching Nayapool, we will grab our backpacks and commence our trek to reach the charming village of Ulleri, nestled at an altitude of 1960m. The trek to Ulleri shall take 4.5 hours for seasoned trekkers and about 7-8 hours for novices. Upon arriving in Ulleri, you will be greeted by the friendly locals, mainly consisting of Magars and other minorities like Kaami (blacksmith) & Damai (tailor). We will proceed to our designated hotel, where you can rest your backpacks and yourself. Savor a cup of tea or coffee before our leader shows you to your rooms, where you can freshen up before heading for supper. You may order food and drinks of your choice, and after dinner, our leader shall brief you about the trip and take breakfast orders for the following morning. Finally, we shall retire for the night after the session.

  • Day 4

    Start the day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel before setting off on our trek towards Ghorepani (2860 m), which is a 3-4 hour trek for seasoned trekkers and 5-6 hours for novices. Along the way, we will pass through a beautiful Rhododendron forest and, if the season is right, witness the incredible colors of the national flower of Nepal, LaaliGuraans. Upon arrival in Ghorepani, we will check into our hotel and enjoy the stunning views of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Nilgiri mountain ranges. After freshening up, we can explore the marketplace before returning to our hotel for a delicious dinner. Our leader will then brief us on the plans for the next day and take breakfast orders before we retire for the night. The next morning, we plan to wake up before sunrise and hike uphill to the famous Poonhill viewpoint (3200 m).

  • Day 5

    Rise early and prepare for a brisk uphill walk to Poon Hill, where the serene dawn sky and the breathtaking view of the Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri range, Nilgiri range, and Mt. Manaslu (8,156 m) awaits. After returning to our hotel in Ghorepani for breakfast, we set off on a 5-6 hour trek (for seasoned trekkers) or a 7-8 hour trek (for novice) to Ghandruk, passing through a forest full of Rhododendron trees and being greeted by occasional smiles and hellos from the Gurung community. Upon reaching Ghandruk, we head to our hotel to rest our backpacks and enjoy a warm cup of tea or coffee. After freshening up, we have dinner with the option to order food and drinks of our choice, followed by a trip briefing from our leader and breakfast orders for the next day, before heading to bed.

  • Day 6

    After having breakfast as per our pre-ordered selection, we pack our bags and descend towards Birethanti (1025 m) where we will reach after a 2-3 hour (for seasoned trekkers) and 4-5 hour (for novice) trek. From Birethanti, we will take our vehicle back to Pokhara, and if we have sufficient time and favorable weather, we can explore the city for half a day. Alternatively, we can spend the rest of the evening at Lakeside, enjoying the views. Dinner can be taken at the hotel or any preferred restaurant, and we will then retire for the night, preparing for an early morning departure to Chitwan the following day.

  • Day 7

    We rise early and have a swift breakfast before setting off on a 4-5 hour journey by vehicle to Chitwan. Our route takes us along the Trishuli river after Mugling. Upon arrival at our hotel in Sauraha, we are greeted with refreshing drinks and shown to our rooms to freshen up. Following a briefing by a wildlife nature guide on the upcoming itinerary, we enjoy a continental buffet lunch in the dining area. After a brief rest, we visit the elephant breeding centre, passing through Tharu settlements. Witnessing the sunset by the riverbank, we return to the hotel for a Nepali Daal-Bhaat set dinner before retiring for the night.

  • Day 8

    After waking up and having breakfast, we embark on a canoe ride where we may encounter various animals like crocodiles, tigers, and rhinos if luck is on our side, and observe migratory birds. Returning to the hotel for lunch, we then take a short break before setting off on a jeep drive through the National Park, visiting the park museum and returning for dinner. Later, we enjoy a Tharu cultural program at a local stage, before returning to the hotel to pack for our departure back to Kathmandu the following day.

  • Day 9

    After waking up to a call, we will freshen up and have a quick tea/coffee before embarking on a bird watching stroll after breakfast, where we will have the opportunity to see several migratory and resident inhabitant birds of the National Park in their natural habitat. We will then head back to our hotel to pack up and begin our 5-hour journey to Kathmandu, stopping for lunch along the way. Upon arrival, we will check into our designated hotel and have some rest before leaving for a farewell dinner featuring a Nepali cultural show at 7pm. After dinner, we will return to our hotel and rest for the night.
