The Goodness trip incorporates major activities and places of attraction that Nepal has to offer.

Signing up to this package will allow you to experience urban, suburban and rural settings and settlements of the country. Activities involve, trekking the world famous routes to paddling the whitest of the white river.

Taking showers alongside elephants in Chitwan to soaring the skies to have a bird’s eye view of the famous Fewa-taal in Pokhara could also be achieved. The cost for these extra activities are not included in the package cost

Day by Day


  • Day 1

    Wake up and have breakfast at the hotel. Pack-up & drive to Charaundi (approx. 74 km) for rafting & overnight camping by the shores of Trishuli River. Here you will be served with a typical Nepali lunch consisting of Dal (lentils), Bhaat (local rice), Tarkaari (vegetable gravy) and Maasu: (Curry usually chicken). Rafting shall be approximately 3 hrs and the evening shall consist of bonfire, BBQ and dinner. We shall be resting under the starry night sky, in our quality tents.

  • Day 2

    Wake up and have breakfast consisting of Bread, jam, butter, hard boiled eggs and chana (brown chickpeas). We then prepare for morning rafting (2 – 3 hrs). We shall be back for lunch at our campsite and then drive to Pokhara (835 m). This journey will take us about 4 - 4.5 hrs. Upon reaching Pokhara, we shall head to our designated hotel and deploy our luggage. Freshen up within 15-20 mins and then head for an evening stroll around the famous Lakeside. Dinner shall be done at our designated restaurant. Payment type is self-pay.

  • Day 3

    Wake up and have breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast we shall board our vehicle and drive for about an hour and half (approx. 44 km) up to Nayapool (starting point of our trek). We shall grab our backpacks and start our trek to reach Ulleri (1960 m). The trek to Ulleri shall be of 4.5 hrs (for seasoned trekkers) and about 7-8 hours (for novice). Upon reaching Ulleri, we will be greeted by the warm smiles of the locals, which mainly consists of Magars and other minorities such as Kaami (blacksmith) &Damai (Tailor). We shall head to our destined hotel where you shall rest your backpacks and yourself. You will be served with Tea/coffee here. Our leader will show you to your rooms where you will freshen up and head for supper. You may order food and drinks of your choice. After dinner, our leader shall brief you about our trip and also take breakfast orders for the following morning. We head to sleep after the session.

  • Day 4

    Wake up and have breakfast at the hotel. We pack our bags and set to continue with our trek. The trekking destination today is Ghorepani (2860 m) which takes about 3 - 4 hours (for seasoned trekkers) and 5 - 6 (for novice). We will walk amidst the “Rhododendron” (locally known as LaaliGuraans; National flower of Nepal) forest; and if the season (March - April) favors us, we shall witness 8-9 different colors of “LaaliGuraans”. Ghorepani, shall greet us with its perfect ambiance, picturesque landscape and if the sky is in our favor we shall witness a range of major peaks lying on the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri belt. We shall head to our destined hotel to rest ourselves. You will be served with Tea/coffee here. We shall order our choice of food for the evening as, preparation takes time. Our leader will show you to your rooms where you will freshen up. You now have choice to stroll down the marketplace if you wish to replenish your supplies. Our leader will then guide you back to our hotel for dinner. After dinner, our leader shall brief you about our trip for tomorrow and also take breakfast orders for the following morning. We head to sleep after the session. Set our alarms for an early morning. The plan is wake up early (before sunrise) and walk (40-60 mins) uphill to the famous viewpoint, Poonhill (3200 m).

  • Day 5

    Wake up early next morning and ready ourselves for a brisk uphill walk (40-60 mins) to Poon Hill (3200m). Upon reaching our view-point, we shall be greeted with the serenity of the dawn sky. If the weather favors us, witnessing the first kiss of the Sun’s orange rays over the complete Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri range, Nilgiri range, Mt. Manaslu (8,156 m) is a sight of a lifetime. We shall return to our hotel in Ghorepani, where we will have our pre-ordered breakfast and prepare for our trek. The destination onwards is Ghandruk (1940 m). The duration of the trek is 5-6 hours (for seasoned trekkers) and 7-8 hours (for novice). This path also takes us amidst the forest full of Rhododendron trees. Ghandruk is inhabited by the mountain people from the Gurung community. Therefore being greeted by occasional smiles and “hello” is a common practice on this path. We then reach Ghandruk and shall head to our destined hotel where we rest our backpacks. We will be served with Tea/coffee here. Our leader will show you to your rooms where you will freshen up and head for supper. You may order food and drinks of your choice. After dinner, our leader shall brief you about our trip and also take breakfast orders for the following morning. We head to sleep after the session.

  • Day 6

    We wake up next morning and have our breakfast as per ordered the night before. Pack up our bags and trek down to Birethanti (1025 m). Duration of the trek down is approx. 2-3 hours (for seasoned trekkers) and 4-5 hours (for novice). Upon reaching Birethanti, we shall catch our vehicle and drive back to Pokhara. If time and weather is in our favor, we shall have a half day sightseeing of Pokhara city; else rest of the evening could be spent by the Lakeside and watch the world pass by. Dinner shall be at the hotel or the restaurant of your choice. We shall then head to bed and prepare for an early morning departure tomorrow for Chitwan.

  • Day 7

    We wake up early morning and have a quick breakfast at the hotel itself. We board the vehicle for Chitwan. The drive to Chitwan from Pokhara is about 4-5 hrs. The road after Mugling is escorted by the famous river Trishuli along our journey. We will reach our designated hotel at Sauraha, where we shall be welcomed by refreshing drinks. We shall then be assigned to our rooms and freshen up. After that we shall meet at the lobby for a briefing session by a wildlife nature guide who will explain us the itinerary for the following days. Upon the briefing ends, we shall be guided towards the dining area for a continental buffet lunch. After lunch, we shall rest for a bit and then head towards the elephant breeding centre. The journey involves us to pass through the Tharu settlement areas. Tharus are the local inhabitants of Sauraha and their community is amongst the minorities. We shall then be visiting a spot near the riverbank to witness a tranquil sight of the sun setting for the day. After the night kicks in, we shall head back to the hotel for our dinner which comprises of Nepali Daal-Bhaat set. We ten head to bed to end our day.

  • Day 8

    Wake up to a call and freshen up. We shall have our breakfast and then head out for a canoe ride. Along the path, we shall get glimpses of crocodiles, snakes, deer, tigers and rhinos (if luck favors) and various migratory birds. After the canoe ride, we will get back to the hotel and have lunch. There will be a short break after lunch and then set off for a jeep drive along the National Park. We will be visiting the national park museum along the way and reach back at the hotel for dinner and then visit a local stage to witness a Tharu cultural program which usually is 1.5 hrs approx. Upon finishing the program, we will head back to our hotel and pack up for the next day’s departure back to Kathmandu.

  • Day 9

    Wake up to a call, freshen up and head for a quick tea/coffee. We are scheduled to go for a bird watching stroll after our breakfast. We will have an opportunity to witness several migratory birds and resident inhabitant birds of the National Park itself in their niche. We will directly head back to our hotel after our bird watching session and pack-up to leave for Kathmandu. Our drive to Kathmandu will be about 5 hrs. We shall stop midway for our lunch and then carry on our journey. Upon reaching Kathmandu, we shall be directed to our designated hotel and rest. Around 7pm, we shall leave for our farewell dinner with a signatory Nepali cultural show. After dinners we will return to our hotel and rest for the night.
