I almost skipped this trip, thinking, “Just another trek.” Boy, was I so wrong! Trekking the Annapurna Base Camp with a group of random solo travelers turned into an unforgettable adventure. We went from strangers to instant friends, swapping life stories, passing around chocolate bars, and cheering each other on through those brutal, steep climbs. And the views? “Mind-blowing” doesn’t even begin to cover it. Waking up to Annapurna South glowing a surreal pink in the dawn light was pure magic every exhausting step instantly felt worth it.
