When Gokyo Stole Our Hearts and Filled Our Cameras

When we signed up for this trek two couples looking for adventure, we thought we knew what to expect. Wow, were we wrong! The Gokyo region completely stole our hearts with landscapes so stunning, we must have taken a thousand photos (seriously, we ran out of memory cards!). But what made it truly special was how everything worked like clockwork, from the warm airport pickup to that emotional final night’s dinner.

Our guides were absolute rockstars, one of our group had some altitude issues, and they handled it with such calm expertise we never felt worried. They knew exactly when to push on and when to take it slow, and still managed to keep the whole experience fun, which isn’t easy at 15,000 feet!
