Terms and Conditions

HC Treks maintains a transparent and fair policy for all our clients. Our terms and conditions cover the following areas:

Booking and Confirmation Guidelines:

Travelers must book their adventure in advance to be a part of our trip. Once you have chosen a trip that fits your preferences, we will provide you with clear instructions for booking. Alternatively, you can click the “Book Now” option at the bottom right. The booking procedure typically involves completing the form and paying a deposit. Your trip will be confirmed as soon as payment is received, and we will provide you with a trip confirmation letter via email.

Cancellations and Refunds – structured and fair timelines:

We are fair with our clients and understand that their plans can be canceled at any time. Therefore, we have a cancellation and refund policy in place. The refundable amount depends on how many days before a trip you canceled.

Travel Insurance Requirements – highly recommended for safety:

We highly recommend that our client purchase travel insurance before starting the trip. Insurance is necessary for the traveler’s own safety and peace of mind, especially if they are going on a high-altitude trek. Buying travel insurance is crucial because it helps to cover unavoidable and unforeseen situations for travelers.

Medical Fitness Declaration for high-altitude activities:

If you are going on trekking, hiking, or climbing expeditions, you must declare that you are physically fit and don’t have any serious health issues. If you have any medical conditions, we recommend informing you in advance so that we can advise you on whether the trip is suitable for you.

Responsibility Waivers and Liability Clauses:

Indeed, an adventure comes with risk, and we can’t take responsibility for all risks, especially those that are unforeseen. Thus, we will ask you to sign a waiver acknowledging your understanding of the risks and releasing us from responsibility for events beyond our control.

Force Majeure and Emergency Protocols:

Unexpected situations like natural disasters, political unrest, and pandemics that are out of our control are known as force majeure. In such a situation, we either cancel or reschedule the trip for safety. Additionally, in the event of an emergency during the journey, we have emergency plans in place, and our professional guide will be able to handle the situation calmly.

NOTE: All travelers are requested to read our complete terms and conditions to avoid misunderstandings and to travel with full clarity.
