Annapurna views that made every step worth it

The 16 days that redefined adventure for our group of four from the moment we landed in Kathmandu to our final celebratory momos, HC Treks orchestrated what might be the most challenging and rewarding experience of our lives. That first glimpse of Thorong La Pass had us questioning our life choices, but reaching the summit? Pure magic. The kind that makes you forget every aching muscle.

Tilicho Lake wasn’t just a destination, it was like teleporting to another world. I’ll never forget standing there at 4,919m, surrounded by blue so intense it looked Photoshopped, thinking “how is this real?” Our guide turned altitude transitions into an art form mixing perfect pacing with jokes that somehow got funnier the higher we climbed. Pro tip: follow their hydration advice like your life depends on it (because basically, it does).

What made this trek special was how HC Treks balanced pushing our limits with respecting them. They knew exactly when we needed an extra rest day (hello, Manang’s bakeries) or when to nudge us further. We got home with more than photos, we got stories that still make our non-trekking friends’ jaws drop. If you’re debating whether you can handle the Annapurna Circuit? You can. And you absolutely should.
